In Portugal, several municipalities have declared bullfighting as Cultural and Intangible Heritage of Municipal Interest, as formal recognition that bullfighting, in its various manifestations, is an integral part of local identity. In this line of thought, the goal is to create photographic documents from a territory, not only as an element of verification, but as a constructive element of this identity.
The bullfight is a key point in the festa, however its surroundings are much more revealing: the moments that precede the action or the moments that follow it can be considered all the more authentic in their spontaneity as they are devoid of the formal pose that performance obliges.

Em Portugal vários municípios declararam a tauromaquia como Património Cultural e Imaterial de Interesse Municipal como reconhecimento formal que a tauromaquia, nas suas diversas manifestações, é parte integrante da identidade local.
Nesta linha pretende-se, a partir de um território criar documentos fotográficos, não só como elemento de verificação, mas como elemento construtor dessa identidade.
A corrida de toiros é um ponto chave na festa brava, no entanto muito mais revelador é o seu entorno: os momentos que precedem a acção ou os momentos que lhe sucedem, podem ser considerados tanto mais autênticos na sua espontaneidade quanto se encontram desprovidos da pose formal a que obriga a performance.
